On Wednesday night, many leading members of the OG team, including director Sujeeth and actor Arjun Das penned long, heartfelt notes about their experience of working on OG, expressing their gratitude.

While OG has registered phenomenal reception both for its premiere shows as well as on Thursday that marks its opening day at box office, other filmmakers like producers of Little Hearts and Mirai too have decided to support Pawan Kalyan, by cancelling their movie shows for a day.

Not all has been smooth for OG makers though. After TG government had approved a major ticket price hike for OG last week, the TG High Court decided to roll back the memo, suspending the ticket price hike. The next hearing regarding the case is on October 9. Meanwhile, it remains to be seen whether OG producers will be compelled to return to regular ticket prices starting from Monday, September 28.

The film also faced multiple setbacks in their content delivery for overseas release, leading to a major cinema chain cancelling their shows while other distribution partners publically airing their distress over the delays.

The film's pre-release event too met with a lot of criticism for its poor management, chaotic scenes at the venue, and because of the makers failing to deliver on their promises of unveiling trailer at the event.

The trailer, after being leaked on Sunday, was officially released by the makers only on Monday afternoon.

In the trailer, it was also revealed that Rahul Ravindran is part of the film's cast. The actor penned a short note on his X page, talking about his role and its place in the narrative.

Now that the film has released, it's clear that the makers intend to make a a sequel, and that the film is part of same cinematic universe as Saaho. Earlier, when the trailer released, the film-goers had speculated about the same.

The OG makers surprisingly chose to go for an 'A' rating from the censor board, a decision that could seriously impact its potential at the box office in the long run, alienating family audience to some extent.

Meanwhile, the film has generated great buzz among the film-goers, registering massive advance sales figures.

An audience member brought a benefit show ticket for Rs 1.3 lakhs, making headlines.
