Even as Pawan Kalyan starrer OG gears up for its premiere shows at many centres later tonights, speculations have been rising about the film’s storyline and its possible links to Prabhas starrer Saaho, Sujeeth’s 2019 action-thriller. In a new series of posts, the OG makers have further fuelled a discourse about whether OG is actually a part of same cinematic universe as Saaho.

Taking to his X page, Sujeeth penned a thank you note for being part of the film, extending his gratitude to everyone including his AD team and his technicians for standing by him and pushing him forward always. The OG filmmaker also thanked his producers DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari and other department heads like editor Navin Nooli, composer Thaman, and cinematographer duo Ravi K Chandran and Manoj Paramahamsa.

Sujeeth concluded his note with the lines, “Watch it, celebrate it, enjoy it. And remember this is only the beginning. With the right things falling into place, this world will only grow bigger from here.” 

Later, the film’s production house DVV Entertainment quoted Sujeeth’s post with the message, “‘S'torming in 'C'inemas near 'U',” using the letters S, C, and U in bold, creating further excitement among film-goers about Sujeeth’s cinematic universe.

As OG’s premiere shows are set to commence within an hour, social media would soon be abuzz with various clips from the film, high points, spoilers, throwing further light on whether OG is a standalone film or part of.. The Sujeeth Cinematic Universe aka SCU

Meanwhile, OG is looking at a staggering reception on its opening day at box office. Reportedly made on a budget of Rs 250 crore, the Pawan Kalyan starrer actioner is expected to gross more than 90 crores on Thursday alone.
