Suriya's Vishwanath & Sons has been making massive strides even before its release in theatres. The film's teaser, which was released on Monday, has amassed over 9.5 million YouTube views and 1.3 million Instagram shares in under 48 hours. The feat has reportedly made it the most shared video on Instagram. With the original soundtrack of the film by GV Prakash Kumar releasing today, excitement for the romantic drama is only expected to increase further.

Directed by Venky Atluri, the film's teaser shows Suriya as Sanjay Vishwanath, an ace pistol shooter in his 40s, holding fort to retain his agility and focus. When Maddy (Mamitha Baiju), a young woman in her 20s arrives into his life, all hell breaks loose. Maddy falls head over heels in love with Sanjay despite his pushback, citing their age gap. The film is expected to revolve around their love story and how it changes their lives.

Naga Vamsi is producing the film under his Sithara Entertainments banner in association with Sai Soujanya's Fortune Four Cinemas.

Apart from Suriya, Mamitha Baiju, Vishwanath & Sons also stars Radikaa Sarathkumar, Bhavani Sre and senior Bollywood actor Raveena Tandon in key roles. It is to be noted that Raveena Tandon is acting in a Tamil film after 24 years, with her last project being Kamal Haasan's Aalavandhan (2001).

On the technical team, GV Prakash will be scoring the music for Suriya 46. He is reuniting with Venky Atluri for the third time after Vaathi (2023) and Lucky Baskhar (2024). This is also the composer's second film with Suriya after Soorarai Pottru (2020). The technical crew also includes editor Navin Nooli and cinematographer Nimish Ravi.
