Actors Nayanthara and Nazriya Nazim took to social media to exchange wishes on Instagram on Sunday as both the actors look forward to their Diwali theatrical release.
Nayanthara extended her heartfelt wishes to Nazriya as the latter gears up for her return to Tamil Cinema with Suriya's upcoming film, Scene. The actor gave her best regards to Nazriya in an Instagram story that said," Can't wait to see you on screen baby..November 6th Scene," expressing her support to the Neram actor and her latest release. Nazriya responded to the gesture by reposting the story with a caption that said,"Thank you so much maam..Love you. And all the best for Mookuthi Amman ..can't wait..All the best to us."
Nazriya is making her comeback to Tamil cinema after her last release, Thirumanam Enum Nikkah in 2014. After a gap of 12 years, the actor's return in Scene is much anticipated. Directed by Jithu Madhavan, the film revolves around DSP Inbaraj, a police officer who attempts to solve a high-stakes criminal case, assembling an uncoventional team along the way. The film also stars Suriya and Naslen.
Meanwhile, Nayanthara is preparing for the release of Mookuthi Amman 2, directed by Sundar C. The actor plays a titular diety's role in the sequel of the 2020 film, Mookuthi Amman. The film also features Regena Cassandrra, Duniya Vijay, Yogi Babu and Urvashi, among others.
With both films set to hit the theatres on November 6, the Diwali season is set for an exciting box office showdown. Nayanthara and Nazriya worked together in Atlee's romantic drama Raja Rani (2013), although they never shared screen space in the film.
