Vidhu buys Preethi Asrani flowers at the beach in the third single from 29, titled 'Poo Paadal'. Composed with a classical twist by Sean Roldan, the song features vocals by Ravi G and lyrics by the film's director, Rathna Kumar. The video features a typical date enjoyed by millennials, complete with a beach trip and with the boyfriend buying the girlfriend a string of jasmine flowers to adorn her hair with.

Previously, the makers released two singles, namely, 'Seelay Seelay' and 'Mansion Kuthu'. While the former is crooned by Chinmayi Sripaada and Sean Roldan, the latter, a celebratory number, has vocals by Anthony Dasan.

29 is produced by Lokesh Kanagaraj through his G Squad banner and by Kaarthikeyan S under the Stone Bench banner. The latter is the production house established by director Karthik Subburaj and was behind Rathna Kumar's directorial debut Meiyadha Maan.

The upcoming film stars Vidhu, who was seen in Kartik Subburaj's Jigarthanda DoubleX and Retro, alongside Preethi Asrani as the lead. The cast of 29 also features Master Mahendran, Avinash, Shenaz Fathima, and Premkumar, among others.

The film also has lyrics written by Uma Devi and Bakkiyam Shankar. The crew of the film also consists of Madhesh Manickam as the director of photography, RS Sathish Kumar as the editor, Shanmugaraja as the art director, and Don Ashok as the stunt choreographer. Currently in post-production, 29 is yet to get a release date.
