The makers of Rasha Thadani-Abhay Verma starrer Laikey Laikaa have begun their promotions in full swing now. After releasing a series of posters last week, the team has now released the first single from their film, titled ‘Chaap Tilak.’

Much like its recent posters, ‘Chaap Tilak’ carries plenty of rustic energy while also having an intense, almost haunting vibe that makes it a catchy composition. The use of thumping purcussions only adds to its desi quality.

The makers also released a BTS-styled video, with Rasha belting out the number with a lot of gusto. Interestingly, the song also marks Rasha’s debut as a playback singer. Rasha shares playback credits with IP Singh. Singh has also penned the lyrics in association with Sidharth-Garima, besides composing the song with Rajarshi Sanyal under their group name Faridkot.

Laikey Laikaa is directed by Saurabh Gupta. Bhavna Talwar and Raghav Gupta are producing the film under Phantom Studios and N2O Films. More details about the primary crew are yet to be announced.

The film was announced in June last year, and Abhay began shooting for the project in September. Laikey Laikaa has been tentatively scheduled for Summer 2026 release.

Besides Laikey Laikaa, Abhay also has Shah Rukh Khan-starrer King in the pipeline. The release date for the film will be announced soon. Meanwhile, Rasha will also make her Telugu debut later this year with Srinivasa Mangapuram.
