Marvel Studios offered fans inside Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con an exclusive sneak peek at Spider-Man: Brand New Day, giving attendees a first look at an action sequence that brings together Spider-Man, the Punisher and the Hulk.

The footage was screened exclusively for Comic-Con attendees and has not been officially released online. According to reports, the clip opens with Tom Holland's Spider-Man taking on Mark Ruffalo's Hulk, who is still said to be in his Smart Hulk form but appears to be gradually reverting to a more savage version of the character.

The action escalates when Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle, aka the Punisher, enters the fight to assist Spider-Man. As described by those who watched the footage, Spider-Man tells Castle that the situation is beyond his abilities, only for the latter to continue firing at Hulk while insisting he is there because "MJ told me to help." The exchange reportedly adds a dose of humour to an otherwise intense confrontation.

The sequence is also believed to take place early in the film, with Spider-Man still relying on his mechanical web-shooters. This has fuelled speculation among fans that the transition to the rumoured organic webbing, teased in the film's promotional material, happens later in the story.

The footage was introduced by Bernthal, who made a surprise appearance during Marvel Studios' Hall H presentation to promote the film ahead of its theatrical release. While Tom Holland did not attend the panel, Bernthal's appearance served as one of the final promotional beats before the film arrives in cinemas.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks Holland's fourth standalone outing as Peter Parker following the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home. The film also stars Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Mando and Sadie Sink, whose role continues to remain under wraps despite months of fan speculation.

Brand New Day was one of several major Marvel showcases at Comic-Con, alongside announcements for Ghost Rider, Black Panther 3 and new footage from Avengers: Doomsday. Although the Hall H clip remains exclusive to attendees for now, its reported Spider-Man-Hulk-Punisher face-off has already become one of the convention's biggest talking points ahead of the film's release on July 31, worldwide, and July 30 in India.
