On the eve of the premiere of the second season of Daredevil: Born Again, Marvel announced that the Jon Bernthal scripted Punisher special has been titled, The Punisher: One Last Kill. The upcoming special presentation is set to premiere internationally on May 12, with an Indian premiere on JioHotstar expected on the same date.
Reinaldo Marcus Green, who has directed King Richard (2021), is writing the upcoming special along with Bernthal, alongside directing it.
The upcoming special's premiere is a week after the premiere of the season two finale of Daredevil: Born Again. While Bernthal appeared in the first season, his return in the second season is not yet confirmed.
Meanwhile, Bernthal will also appear as Frank Castle/The Punisher in Destin Daniel Cretton's Spider-Man: Far From Home. Tom Holland returns as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, along with Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk, Michael Mando as Scorpion, Marvin Jones III as Lonnie Lincoln/Tombstone.
