The trailer of Sudheer Babu’s upcoming Telugu-Hindi supernatural thriller Jatadhara was dropped on Friday. Launched by Mahesh Babu, the trailer offers a dark and visually striking glimpse.

The story begins with a haunting legend, a treasure guarded by a spirit under a Pisacha Bandhanam ritual. Sudheer Babu plays a ghost hunter who doesn’t believe in ghosts, determined to debunk the supernatural. However, his disbelief is tested when a greedy woman, played by Shilpa Shirodkar, unleashes a terrifying entity, Dhana Pisachi, portrayed by Sonakshi Sinha in a fierce and commanding role. The spirit demands a child’s sacrifice in exchange for unleashing the gold, setting off a bloody battle between faith and fear.

Jatadhara’s trailer builds tension with its eerie visuals, striking sound design, and Sudheer’s gritty transformation. Sonakshi Sinha, making her Telugu debut, appears formidable as the antagonist, while Avasarala Srinivas and Divya Vijay add intrigue in supporting roles.

Helmed by Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal, Jatadhara promises a mythological horror experience that blends folklore and action. The visuals by Sameer Kalyani and the haunting score by Rajeev Raj heighten the supernatural atmosphere, while Prabhat Thakur’s production design and Sandhya Sharma’s art direction lend the film visual scale.

Backed by Zee Studios and Ess Kay Gee Entertainments, Jatadhara is jointly produced by Umesh Kumar Bansal, Shivin Narang, Aruna Agarwal, Prerna Arora, Shilpa Singhal, and Nikhil Nanda. Shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi, the project reportedly draws inspiration from lore surrounding the Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple. Jatadhara arriving in theatres on November 7.
