Two days ahead of their film’s release, the makers of Telusu Kada held a pre-release event in Hyderabad. The primary cast and crew, including director Neerraja Kona and female leads Raashii Khanna and Srinidhi Shetty. On the occasion, Siddu Jonnalagadda gave an emotionally charged speech, particularly addressing young men and women who are the target audience for the film.

Throughout the promotional activities of the film, Siddu has been talking about the ‘radical’ nature of his character that will be a unique element in the upcoming love story. At the event too, Siddu spoke about the same as he said, “In this film, my character Varun will create a sense of emotional warfare and psychological violence without holding a gun or knife and without shedding a single drop of blood — That’s a promise I give you all.”

Addressing young men who often self-destruct in relationships, Siddu said, “I have only one advice for you — if someone wants to leave, let them go. If you chase someone with desperation, you will only lose your pride. Self-respect is non-negotiable and paramount. The real story begins after the heartbreak, when you realise that you should be in control of your emotions — that’s when your true self emerges out of the experience.”

Raashii Khanna, who plays Anjali in the film, said, “You will see all of us — including Siddu and Srinidhi — in a new avatar in this film.”

Also starring Harsha Chemudu in a prominent role, Telusu Kada promises to offer a unique perspective on modern relationships. Thaman S has composed music for the film, while Navin Nooli is the editor.

Produced under People Media Factory, the film will release on October 17.
