Recently, producer Drama Company announced a new film directed by debutant Gowtham Sivaraman that stars Shivarajkumar, Abishan Jeevinth, and Yogalakshmi, among others. The film marks the first production venture of Drama Company and the directorial debut of Gowtham, who worked as a co-director with Abishan Jeevinth on Tourist Family. The yet-untitled film brings him back together with Tourist Family director Abishan Jeevinth and actor Yogalakshmi. Abishan made his debut as a lead actor with this year's With Love, co-starring Anaswara Rajan. Yogalakshmi played a character named Kural in Tourist Family, one of 2025's most profitable Indian films.
The latest development about the project is that Drama Company dropped an image that offers a first look at Yogalakshmi's character in the film. Sharing the poster, the producer wrote in the caption, "Happy Birthday to our Angel Jeniffer Yogalakshmi. Your beautiful smile and lovely energy make everything brighter! Wishing you endless happiness, love, and smiles always!"
Alongside the Rajinikanth headliner Jailer 2, where he reprises his role as Narasimha, the upcoming film brings Shivarajkumar back to Tamil cinema after playing Sengolan alias Senganna in 2024's Dhanush starrer Captain Miller. The film also stars Shwetha as Shivani Nagaram, while Abishan plays a character named Sugan and Shivarajkumar portrays Shanmugam in it.
The makers have wrapped production on the film, calling it "a journey filled with joy, friendship, love, laughter and relentless hard work and memories we’ll cherish forever." They are expected to announce the title in the near future.
The film is produced by A Balamurugan under the Drama Company banner. The makers are yet to reveal further details about the project, including its story and additional cast members. On the technical front, the film has cinematographer Pragadeesh Prabhu, composer Leon James, editor Sureshkumar K, and art director Viju Vijayan.
