If anyone thought Telusu Kada would be a breezy romantic comedy, the newly released trailer says otherwise. Starring Siddu Jonnalagadda, Raashii Khanna, and Srinidhi Shetty, the film takes a sharp detour from the so-far established soft rom-com marketing flair, plunging into an emotionally charged, edgy exploration of love, ego, and choice.

Opening with Siddu declaring that “men shouldn’t cry in front of women because it gives them power,” the trailer quickly sets the tone, raw, witty, and a touch provocative. Siddu’s character soon finds himself romantically entangled with two women at once, leaving his friend (played by Viva Harsha) hilariously bewildered. What begins as a love triangle spirals into a swirl of passion and confusion, where the lines between affection and obsession blur.

The trailer’s dialogues are unapologetically bold, director Neeraja Kona doesn’t hold back in portraying the complex shades of modern relationships. Siddu’s portrayal hints at a man who is both charming and chaotic, his “radical” persona pushing against societal expectations. Both Raashii Khanna and Srinidhi Shetty appear more than just romantic counterparts, they bring emotional weight and depth to the narrative, each representing different facets of love and independence.

Visually, the trailer shines with Gnana Shekar VS’s slick cinematography and a moody palette that matches the film’s unpredictable tone. S Thaman’s pulsating background score complements the drama perfectly, while Naveen Nooli’s crisp editing adds rhythm to the emotional chaos. The film is backed by People Media Factory.

Telusu Kada marks Neeraja Kona’s directorial debut after a successful career as a celebrity stylist, and she seems to have opted for a surprisingly bold debut. The film, produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad, promises to be more than just another love story.

Releasing this Diwali on October 17, Telusu Kada will face off with Kiran Abbavaram’s K-Ramp and Priyadarshi’s Mithra Mandali, but judging by its trailer, Siddu Jonnalagadda’s latest outing could very well be the dark horse of the season.
