Shree Nandu will soon be seen in the upcoming dark comedy presented by Spirit Media, titled Psych Siddhartha. The film will release on December 12. On Friday, the makers released the first single of their film.

Smaran Sai is the music composer for Pysch Siddhartha. Titled ‘Dhum Thakum,’ the first single is a playful yet gentle composition that captures the budding romance between the film’s protagonist and his neighbour, a single mother. Jassie Gift has lent his vocals, bringing a pleasant energy, while lyrics are by National award winner Kasarla Shyam

The romantic composition has a lilting rhythm section that’s almost rustic in nature, and catchy incorporation of bass and guitar (by Shallu Varun). Manasa Seshu and Sraman himself have provided additional vocals.

Psych Siddhartha marks the directorial debut for Varun Reddy, who has also penned the script. Nandu, meanwhile, is credited for ‘additional screenplay.’ Nandu is also the co-producer for the film along with Shyam Sunder Reddy Thudi, bankrolling the project under the banners of Nanduness and Keep Rolling Pictures.

The film also features Narasimha S, Priyanka Rebekah Srinivas, Sukesh, Wadekar Narsing, Bobby Ratakonda, Sakshi Atree Chaturvedi, Mounika, and Pradyumna Billuri in the ensemble cast. In the technical team, K Prakash Reddy helms cinematography and Prateek Nuti is the editor.

Asian Suresh Entertainments is onboard as the theatrical distributor for the film that will clash against Mowgli at the box office.

Nandu has few other projects that will release soon, like Dhandoraa and Ugly Story
