Dune: Part Three: On Tuesday, the makers of Dune: Part Three have unveiled the final trailer for the film. Timothee Chalamet reprises his role as Paul Atreides in the upcoming film, which is set to release on December 18.
Denis Villeneuve returns to direct Dune: Part Three, which is adaptation of Frank Herbert's Dune: Messiah. Villeneuve has adapted the novel along with Brian K Vaughan.
The new trailer opens with Paul, now Emperor Paul Muad'Dib, using the Voice on Irulan (Florence Pugh) to uncover the conspiracy to assasinate him. As Irulan succumbs to the pain from the Voice, and reveals that Chani (Zendaya), Paul's concubine, as a co-conspirator, we are shown the extent of Paul's atrocities across the Imperium and the extent of the plot to assasinate him. As a jaded Stilgar (Javier Bardem) leads Paul's jihad from the front, with a ruthless Alia (Anya Taylor-Joy) aiding Paul, the Fremen are forced to pick a side.
But the biggest threat to Paul's rule comes with the Tleilaxu face dancer, Scytale (Robert Pattinson) and most of all Edric, the Spacing Guild Navigator. The presence of the pair threatens Paul's presceince, hindering his vision into the future. With enemies closing in on him, Paul is forced to confront the realities of his Jihad, his promises to Chani, and the future of the house of Atreides.
The cast of the film also includes Rebecca Ferguson, Jason Momoa, Isaach de Bankole, and Charlotte Rampling, with Nakoa-Wolf Momoa, Jason Momoa's son, and Ida Brooke as Paul and Chani's children, Leto II and Ghanima, respectively.
