As the makers of Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu slowly approach the release date, the team is gradually revving up the promotions while also wrapping up the remaining talkie portions. Yesterday, we reported about the shoot schedule with Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh, who is making a special appearance in the film, that concluded on Wednesday. On Thursday, the team announced the release date for their new single, ‘Sasirekha.’

Named after its female protagonist played by Nayanthara, ‘Sasirekha’ will be released on December 8. The team also shared the song promo will be out on Saturday, December 6, while sharing the song poster which features Nayanthara and Chiranjeevi looking youthful and engaged in some playful banter. Bheems Ceciroleo is the music composer for the film. 

It is to be noted that the first single, ‘Meesala Pilla,’ has emerged as a massive chartbuster, garnering over 75 million hits on YouTube and inspiring countless reels on social media, with young film-lovers imitating the Chiranjeevi dance steps from the song. 

Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film also features VTV Ganesh and Catherine Tresa in ensemble cast. Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainment serve as the production banners.

Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu is set to release on Sankranthi 2026, clashing against many biggies like The Raja Saab, Anaganaga Oka Raju, Nari Nari Naduma Murari and BMW.
