

While there have been many reports recently about release for Prabhas starrer The Raja Saab being postponed from Sankranthi 2026, the makers have remained firm on the official status. Recently, the US booking for the film, for the dates of January 8 and 9, also commenced. With the same, the makers also confirmed the duration for their film.
Estimated at a duration of 3 hours and 15 minutes, The Raja Saab will hence be the longest film of Prabhas’ 24-year-career yet. The other long duration Prabhas starrer films include Adipurush (2 hour 59 minutes), Salaar (2 hour 55 minutes) and Kalki (3 hours).
This record is notwithstanding Baahubali: The Epic, the combined feature film edited out of both the Baahubali movies that released recently in theatres.
Meanwhile, The USA premieres for The Raja Saab will be held on January 8, with the worldwide release planned on January 9. Produced by People Media Factory banner on a massive scale, the horror-comedy also stars Nidhhi Agerwal, Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Riddhi Kumar and Malavika Mohanan, marking her Telugu debut. Maruthi helms the direction.
Thaman S is composing music for the film. The first single of the film, titled ‘Rebel Saab’ was released a few days ago.
Upon it’s release, the Prabhas starrer will clash during the Sankranthi week against many biggies like Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu, Anaganaga Oka Raju, and Ravi Teja starrer Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi.
