On Thursday night, actor Trisha shared an image of her standing in front of Tirupati Sri Venkateswara Temple. “Best day. Still feeling it,” she wrote as the caption. The actor made the visit earlier in the day. In the image, a large group of people can be seen behind her, at the other side of a barricade, some of whom are trying to get her attention. The actor appears in a happy mood as she poses for pictures. In fact, she herself gave fans a glimpse into her state of mind by posting a still from The Housemaid playing on her television earlier in the day. “And finally The Housemaid has been watched and my heart is “brutally” happy,” she wrote about the film, starring Amanda Seyfried and Sydney Sweeney. 

The visit to the temple has come not long after the actor spent some downtime with a viewing of the psychological thriller. Director Paul Feig's thriller tells the story of a woman (Sweeney) who joins a rich family, consisting of a husband (Brandon Sklenar) and wife (Seyfried), as their live-in housemaid. However, what starts as a good job quickly turns into a dangerous situation defined by a potentially fatal attraction, hidden motives, and manipulation. Within the private confines of the Winchester estate, a series of startling revelations await the audience, ensuring that the truth remains elusive for them until the end.

The film has an 'A' rating from the Censor Board of Film Certification in India. It is available on a rental basis on Prime Video and is still running in select theatres.

Coming back to Trisha, the actor recently lashed out at a BJP leader for making a “distasteful comment” regarding her personal life. Even under her latest posts, fans continue to make such disparaging comments, although some saw her latest picture and referred to her character Dhanalakshmi from Ghilli.
