The Rajinikanth headlined Jailer 2, has become the latest Tamil film to face a leak. A behind the scenes clip was leaked online, which has prompted the makers to initiate action against further exploitation of the video online, like sharing, reposting, or using the video.
The makers also mentioned that their anti-piracy teams are vigilant of the situation and strict action, including suspension, will be taken against handles exploiting the video.
Jailer 2 is produced by Kalanithi Maran under his Sun Pictures banner. The sequel to Jailer (2023), sees the return of Nelson in the director's chair, with Anirudh returning to compose music.
The sequel sees the return of actors Ramya Krishnan, Mirnaa, Yogi Babu, Vinayakan, Shivarajkumar, and Mohanlal. Meanwhile Vijay Sethupathi, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Sacred Games fame Jatin Sarna, have joined the cast of Jailer 2. The film is expected to release later this year.
