The first single from Dude, 'Oorum Blood', was unveiled last week, and it has been receiving mixed reviews on social media. Anticipation for the song was sky-high, as it marks Sai Abhyankkar's first song for a Tamil feature film. Amidst trolls and criticisms, the budding music composer has now unveiled the unplugged version of the song from the Pradeep Ranganathan starrer.

The song has been composed and sung by Sai Abhyankkar with lyrics by Paal Dabba. Instead of the fast-paced beats of the original, the unplugged version of the song features the composer playing the keyboard and rendering the piece like a melody.

Dude is Pradeep's fourth film as the lead. He has previously headlined Love Today, which was released last year, in which he served as the director; Ashwath Marimuthu's Dragon; and Vignesh Shivan's Love Insurance Kompany (LIK), which will be released in October.

The film, also featuring Mamitha Baiju, Sarathkumar, Hridhu Haroon, Rohini and Dravid Selvam, is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers and will also release in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi, apart from Tamil. This film is the production company's second Tamil film after Ajith Kumar's latest hit, Good Bad Ugly.

Keerthiswaran had earlier worked as an assistant director for Sudha Kongara in Soorarai Pottru, her segments in Paava Kadhaigal and Putham Pudhu Kaalai.

Dude has cinematography by Niketh Bommi and cuts by Barath Vikraman. The film is set for a Diwali release and will clash with Mari Selvaraj's Bison, starring Dhruv Vikram, and Pradeep's own Love Insurance Kompany, helmed by Vignesh Shivan, which releases a few days prior to the festive occasion.

Sai Abhyankkar also has Benz, Karuppu, STR 49, AA22xA6, Balti and Marshal in the pipeline. Recently, he joined hands with Anirudh Ravichander for the 'Salambala' song from Sivakarthikeyan's Madharaasi
