Veeram actor Bala plays a negative role in Annaatthe

Bala, who was recently seen in Karthi's Thambi, is playing a negative role in Annaatthe. The actor himself revealed it in a recent media interaction. He also added that the Rajinikanth-starrer is being made on a whopping budget of Rs 240 crore.

Incidentally, this is Bala's second film with his brother, director Siva, after Veeram. He had played the role of Ajith's brother in the film.

Annaatthe marks the first collaboration between Siva and Rajinikanth. The film also stars Nayanthara, Meena, Khushboo, Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj, Robo Shankar, Soori, and Sathish in important roles.

Annaatthe has Vetri and Ruben handling the cinematography and editing, respectively.

The makers have announced that the film will be hitting screens for Deepavali in November.
