Netflix has announced that actor Chiranjeevi will make his OTT debut, with a new talk show, titled Chiranjeevi's Megaverse. The streamer announced that filming for the series is currently in progress.
The series is posed to feature Chiranjeevi in conversation with various insiders from the Telugu film industry, with real life stories from the times that shaped the journey of the industry. Gold Box Entertainments, Atom Media Ventures and Sol Production LLP are the banner backing the series.
Chiranjeevi began his career with K Vasu's Pranam Khareedu in 1978. In a career spanning over 48 years he has appeared as a lead in over 150 films. His latest release is Anil Ravipudi's Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, which released alongside the Sankranti festival, this year.
The actor is also awaiting the release of Vishwambhara, which is directed by Vassishta with Trisha also starring. He will also star in Bobby Kolli's Kaaka, which also stars Anaswara Rajan and Anurag Kashyap (in his film debut).
