Appreciation has been coming in a large amount for filmmaker Mohit Suri's musical love story Saiyaara. Actor Riteish Deshmukh is the latest celebrity to shower the film with praise. A while ago, Riteish took to his Instagram Stories to praise Saiyaara, which stars Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in the lead roles. The actor described it as the "most soul-stirring film yet" in Mohit's career. According to Riteish, the film is “so delicately directed, so deeply felt” where “every frame carries truth, every emotion lingered long after the credits rolled.”

Saiyaara tells the story of a romantic relationship between a musician (Ahaan Panday in his acting debut) and a journalist (Aneet Padda). Riteish reserved special praise for Ahaan and Aneet’s acting in the film, calling them “something else as performers” and saying both actors left him “speechless”. He went on to add, “The way you embodied vulnerability, love, pain and heartbreak - with such honesty and grace - was nothing short of extraordinary.” Riteish also conveyed his best wishes to the lead actors in the film. The actor went on to express his gratitude to the film’s producers Akshaye Widhani and Aditya Chopra for “bringing love back into our lives.”

Riteish concluded his review stating that the film will stay with him “for a long, long time.”

It is worth noting that Riteish portrays the titular role in Mohit's 2014 film Ek Villain, which is also a romantic drama. This explains why a part from Riteish's review reads, "You were always a brilliant filmmaker."

Reportedly, Saiyaara has earned over 150 crore at the box office, exceeding expectations from a film starring newcomers in the lead roles. Critics and viewers attribute the film’s success to Mohit’s emotional storytelling and its music. The film's music has become immensely popular on social media, drawing comparisons to Mohit’s own Aashiqui 2.
