The first trailer for Die, My Love, released by Mubi is nothing short of a wild and intense ride as Jennifer Lawrence grapples with varied emotions in the one-minute-long video. The film is directed by renowned Scottish filmmaker Lynne Ramsay, who co-wrote the script with Enda Walsh and Alice Berch which is based on the book by Ariana Harwicz.

The official logline says that the story of Die, My Love is set in a remote and forgotten rural area and will follow a mother who struggles to maintain her sanity as she battles with psychosis and struggles to retain a grip on reality. Robert Pattinson plays her husband who is struggling to deal with her. Towards the end of the trailer we see a distressed Pattinson carry a knife with him, hinting at a macabre ending. LaKeith Stanfield, plays a crucial role as her lover. Actors Sissy Spacek and Nick Nolte are also part of the cast.

The psychological drama is being released in theatres by Mubi on November 7 following its premiere at this year's Cannes Film Festival. Die, My Love has the studio behind The Substance backing the film as well as Martin Scorsese.

Lynne Ramsay is best known for her films RatcatcherTalk About Kevin and Morvern Callar. She last made You Were Never Really Here, a neo-noir crime psychological thriller film starring Joaquin Phoenix, Ekaterina Samsonov, and Alex Manette, among others.

It is being produced under the banners of Justine Ciarrocchi and Jennifer Lawrence's Excellent Cadaver, alongside Martin Scorsese and Andrea Calderwood. Black Label Media is providing financial backing for the project.
