Zendaya and Robert Pattinson's upcoming rom-com The Drama has set a release date for April next year. Written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli, known for his surreal black comedy Dream Scenario, The Drama hits theatres on April 3, 2026.

Details about the plot have been kept under wraps, although the storyline is suggested to be about a couple whose romance takes an unexpected and dramatic turn just before their big day. The Drama, which finished shooting late last year, also stars Alana Haim, Mamoudou Athie, and Hailey Gates.

Ari Aster and Lars Knudsen are producing The Drama through their Square Peg banner alongside Kristoffer Borgli and Tyler Campellone of Dilemma Films, and in collaboration with A24. The Drama is Kristoffer Borgli's fourth film and his second with A24.

Zendaya and Pattinson will also sharing screen space in Christopher Nolan's much-anticipated The Odyssey, also starring Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong’o and Charlize Theron. Apart from these two films, they will also feature in Dune: Part Three where Pattinson is joining the franchise for the first time.

The two actors are looking forward to an eventful year as Zendaya is coming back to the Spider-Man franchise for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and for Euphoria season 3. Pattinson, who was last seen in Bong Joon Ho's Mickey 17, is awaiting the release of Lynne Ramsay’s Die, My Love, where he stars alongside Jennifer Lawrence. It releases on November 7 in the US. He is also a part of Lance Oppenheim's crime drama Primetime.
