Three days to go for its worldwide re-release, and Baahubali: The Epic is already breaking records for its advance sales figures. The SS Rajamouli epic has taken a thunderous start at the box office for its re-release.

The booking opened three days ago. Reportedly, the film has already grossed more than Rs 5 crore in advance sales. In the coming three days, before the film returns to theatres worldwide, the figures are expected to go well beyond Rs 10 crore for its day 1 figures alone.

Among re-releases, some of the highest-grossing Telugu films are movies like Mahesh Babu’s Khaleja and Murari, which reportedly gross nearly Rs 13 crore and 9 crore, respectively. Films like Gabbar Singh, Kushi and Businessman too performed very well on their re-release.

For Baahubali: The Epic, the makers have combined both parts of the series and have edited them into one long film roughly with a duration of 3 hours 45 minutes.  The makers are also organising special premieres in overseas market starting from October 29, two days ahead of the release. Rana Daggubati will be present at the LA premiere that will be held at TCL Chinese Theatres IMAX on the 29th.

Meanwhile, the Indian premiere shows will be held on October 30.

Variance Films, that is distributing the film in the US, confirmed that starting from October 31, Baahubali: The Epic will open at 400 locations in the US, and will play atleast one show a day for the entire week.

Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda, the iconic film series stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead cast. Earlier this year, the makers celebrated the 10 year anniversary of the first part Baahubali: The Beginning by holding a small reunion.
