

Mass Jathara, the much-delayed Ravi Teja-starrer entertainer, was finally scheduled for a theatrical release on October 31. Incidentally, the makers of Baahubali are too planning to re-release their film on the same date. Now reports are coming in Mass Jathara team is planning to postpone their film release by a single day, to avoid a direct clash with Baahubali.
So now, instead of October 31, Mass Jathara will reportedly arrive on November 1, with special paid premieres being planned for October 31 instead.
The Mass Jathara release has already been postponed multiple times this year. The film was earlier planned for an August release, before the film’s final leg of shooting was delayed due to the Telugu film workers’ strike that completed stopped the industry work for nearly 3 weeks in that month
Meanwhile, the makers of Mass Jathara shared two other major updates today. The official trailer of the film will be unveiled on October 27. Additionally, the team also informed that they completed the censor formalities, with the film receiving a U/A certificate from the censor board.
Directed by Bhanu Bogavarapu, who has previously written Samajavaragamana among others, the film is produced under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Mass Jathara also stars Sreeleela in the lead, marking her second collaboration with Ravi Teja after Dhamaka. Sreeleela was last seen in the Telugu-bilingual Junior, which released in July. Meanwhile, Ravi Teja’s previous release, Mr Bachchan, came more than a year ago. In this film, Ravi Teja plays a railway police officer, while veteran actor Rajendra Prasad joins as his quirky grandfather.
Bheems Ceciroleo has composed music for the film. The latest single, ‘Super Duper’, was unveiled few days ago. The key technicians for the film include cinematographer Vidhu Ayyanna, and editor Navin Nooli.
