Earlier in August, we had reported about Satyam Rajesh’s upcoming project Friendly Ghost that was set for a release in September. While the makers later postponed the release, a new character poster from the film was released on Monday, featuring Rhea Sachdeva.

Rhea Sachdeva will be seen playing a young woman named Sarayu in the film. By the looks of it, Sarayu ia a simple-natured woman, yet carrying a mysterious look on her face, possibly carrying a secret in her heart about the ‘friendly ghost’ that has kept everyone hooked and intrigued. 

Besides Rhea Sachdeva and Satyam Rajesh, Friendly Ghost also features Vennela Kishore, Sapthagiri, Madhu Nandan and Sunitha Masasiar in the lead cast. G Madhu Sudhan Reddy is the writer-director for the film, and Vishwanath DK is the producer, bankrollig it under Suchin Cinemas banner. Billed as a Bheems Ceciroleo musical,  Friendly Ghost has lyrics from National Award winner Kasarla Shyam.

In the technical team, Harij Prasad is the cinematographer and Bonthala Nageshwara Reddy is the editor. The art direction is by Bhupathi Yedhagiri, while Anji has choreographed the action sequences. The shooting for the film has been completed, and an official release is yet to be announced. 

Rhea Sachdeva was last seen in the mystery thriller Hide n Seek, which was headlined by Viswant.
