Satyam Rajesh, who has recently appeared in films like Kothapallilo Okappudu and Mad Square, is now headlining the upcoming mystery-comedy titled Friendly Ghost. The first look of the film was unveiled on Saturday. Manchu Manoj released the poster.
The first look poster carries an imagery of a dense, haunting forest, featuring a curious-looking Satyam Rajesh who is looking for the faceless ghost that lurks on the corner. G Madhu Sudhan Reddy is the writer-director for the film, and Vishwanath DK is the producer. The film is produced under the banner of Suchin Cinemas. The supporting cast includes Vennela Kishore, Rhea Sachdeva, Sunitha Marasiar, Sapthagiri and Madhu Nandan among others.
Friendly Ghost is billed as a Bheems Ceriroleo musical, and has lyrics from Kasarla Shyam. In the technical team, Harij Prasad is the cinematographer and Bonthala Nageshwara Reddy is the editor. The art direction is by Bhupathi Yedhagiri, while Anji has choreographed the action sequences.
The shooting for the film has been completed, and the mystery-comedy has been tentatively scheduled for a theatrical release in September 2025, although a date is yet to be announced.
