The official trailer of much-anticipated Kiran Abbavaram starrer K-Ramp was unveiled at a grand event held here in Hyderabad on Saturday. The primary cast and crew of the film were present at the event, which saw a huge attendance.

Written and directed by debutant Jains Nani, with dialogues by Ravindra Rajaa, K-Ramp's trailer further builds on its protagonist’s chill demeanor and tendency to get into trouble. However, the trailer also vaguely establishes a conflict point in his love story with Mercy (Yukti Thareja), a discovery that makes the protagonist’s life more chaotic than before.

On the fringes is another colourful middle-aged character (played by Naresh VK), and his budding romance with a new neighbour that adds fun to the proceedings. All in all, K-Ramp promises to be an energetic, relentless entertainer making the most out of its impressive ensemble cast, which also includes Vennela Kishore, Sai Kumar, Muralidhar Goud and Ali among others.

K-Ramp is produced by Razesh Danda and Shiva Bommak under the banners of Hasya Movies and Ruudransh Celluloid. Balaji Gutta is the co-producer. Chaitan Bharadwaj has composed music for the film, and Sateedy Reddy Masam is the cinematographer. The technical team also has senior technicians like Brahma Kadali and Chota K Prasad, in charge of production designer and editing, respectively.

The film, slated to release on October 18, will have stiff competition from films like Mithra Mandali and Telusu Kada which are releasing on October 16 and 17, respectively. If either of the films gets a good response on their opening days, it might be a tough read ahead for K-Ramp.

There is also Dude, Pradeep Ranganathan-Mamitha Baiju starrer entertainer which hits theatres on October 17. Although, going by the current response, K-Ramp seems to be only one among the Telugu original releases that week that genuinely seems to have created an excitement in the audience.
