Kiran Abbavaram, who scored a major boxoffice hit last year with KA, is now coming up with his next K-Ramp, which is billed in complete contrast as a youthful entertainer. The first single of the film, ‘Onam Song,’ was unveiled on Saturday.
Composed by Chaitan Bharadwaj, ‘Onam Song’ is a catchy dance number, where the Onam festivities are sprinkled with a dose of quintessential mass energy. Chaitan has also lent his vocals to the song, alongwith Sahithi Chaganti, bringing great vigour to the song. The lyrics are by Surendra Krishna, and composer Arun Chiluveru has contributed with the Guitars.
In the colorfully and vibrant music video, choreographed by Vijay Polaki, Kiran Abbavaram and Yukti Thareja (known for Marco and Rangabali) can be seen having a ball with their Onam celebrations, dancing their hearts away while donning traditional attire. It is to be noted that Yukti plays a Malayali girl in the movie. The makers also shot a major schedule in Kerala a few months ago.
The first glimpse of the film, which was released 3 weeks ago, garnered a lot of attention with its youthful dialogues and presentation of Kiran Abbavaram in a new, light-hearted avatar. Jains Nani is the writer and director for the film that’s produced by Razesh Danda and Shiva Bommak, under Hasya Movies and Ruudransh Celluloid banners.
The technical team includes notables names like Chota K Prasad and Brahma Kadali as editor and production designer, respectively. Sateesh Reddy Masam, who worked for the recently-released series Arabia Kadali, is the cinematographer. Ravindra Raaja is the dialoguew writer.
K-Ramp is set for a grand release on October 18, on the occasion of Diwali. As of now, it is the only major Telugu film scheduled for Diwali release.
