Siddu Jonnalagadda’s upcoming film Telusu Kada is slated for a theatrical release on October 17, mounted as a Diwali release. On Thursday, the makers announced that the official trailer of their film will be unveiled on Sunday, October 12.
The makers also released a cheeky dialogue promo to share the update. In the new teaser, we see Siddu, who plays Varun, and Harsha Chemudu engrossed in a late-night conversation where the latter warns Varun to beware of ‘strong, independent women’ in life. To which, Varun replies that he has enough clarity of thought and testosterone to handle the type. The teaser is underlined by a heavy, swaggy background score that plays in complete trust to the promotional material released by the makers so far.
Also starring Raashii Khanna and Srinidhi Shetty as the female leads, Telusu Kada marks the directorial debut for renowned stylist Neerraja Kona. Thaman S has composed music for the film. Both songs from the film released so far, 'Mallikagandha' and 'Sogasu Chudatharama' have received great response from film-goers.
The film also has renowned names in the technical team like Navin Nooli (editing), Gnana Shekar VS (cinematography) and Avinash Kolla (production design).
The new-age romance is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under People Media Factory. Upon it’s release, Telusu Kada will have stiff competition at the box office, thanks to the presence of Mithra Mandali and K-Ramp that are slated to arrive on October 16 and 18, respectively.
Siddu’s previous release was the action caper Jack, directed by Baskar, which did not perform well at the box office. Srinidhi was recently seen in Nani-starrer HIT 3, which remains one of the few boxoffice hits this year. Raashii’s last Telugu theatrical release, Thank You, was over 3 years ago.
