Kishkindhapuri, the recent horror-thriller that blends folklore, fright, and a dash of dark humour, is set to make its digital debut on ZEE5 from October 17 at 6 PM.

Directed by Koushik Pegallapati of Chaavu Kaburu Challaga fame, Kishkindhapuri stars Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran in lead roles, alongside Makarand Deshpande, Tanikella Bharani, and Sandy Master. Produced by Sahu Garapati under the Shine Screens banner, the film drew attention for its fresh take on horror rooted in Telugu folklore.

Set around an abandoned radio station, Kishkindhapuri follows a group of ghost tour guides whose usual act takes a deadly turn when a centuries-old spirit awakens. What starts as an eerie night of storytelling soon spirals into chaos, trapping the group in a haunted labyrinth where reality and illusion blur.

Cinematographer Chinmay Salaskar’s atmospheric visuals and Chaitan Bharadwaj’s haunting score heighten the tension, while Niranjan Devaramane’s sharp editing keeps the pace tight. The screenplay has been penned by Darahas Palakollu and K Bala Ganesh.

Supporting performances by Srikanth Iyengar, Hyper Aadi, Sudarshan, and others lend the film a mix of intensity and comic relief. The production design has been handled by Manisha Dutt and art direction by D Siva Kamesh.

The CE review of Kishkindhapuri reads, “Director Koushik Pegallapati displays a flair for visual styling and keeps you hooked despite playing with some familiar tropes.”
