Kannada actor Chikkanna is all set to begin a new chapter in his life as he marries Pavana in an intimate traditional ceremony in Mysuru on Sunday, August 30. The wedding was held according to Vokkaliga customs, with family members, friends and several prominent names from the Kannada film industry joining the celebrations.
The actor’s reception has already taken place, bringing together several well-known personalities from Kannada audiences. Actors Mandya Ramesh, SriiMurali, Daali Dhananjaya, Tara, Telugu actor Sunil, who is working the character with Jodethu Abhishek Ambareesh, Aditi Prabhudeva, Anusha Rai, Karunya Ram along with filmmaker AP Arjun, Meghana Goankar and politican Nalapad were among those who attended the reception and extended their wishes to the couple.
Speaking to the media at the event, actor Mandya Ramesh highlighted how much Chikkanna has grown in the Kannada film industry. He said the actor has reached a stage where even some of Karnataka’s biggest stars are turning up to celebrate his wedding.
Chikkanna has grown to a level where legendary actors from Karnataka are coming to his wedding. Looking at the number of people gathered here, one can understand the amount of love people have for him,” Mandya Ramesh said.
Actor Daali Dhananjaya, who shares a close bond with Chikkanna, also expressed his happiness over the actor’s wedding. He wished the couple a happy and fulfilling married life. “I am very happy that our Chikkanna is getting married. I wish him a wonderful married life. His family life will be very good,” Dhananjaya said.
