Badmashulu trailer: Two bumbling good-for-nothings struggle to get out of a police station in upcoming comedy

The film, written and directed by Shankar Cheguri, stars Mahesh Chintala and Vidyasagar Karampuri in lead roles

The official trailer of the upcoming comedy Badmashulu was released on Monday. Featuring Mahesh Chinthala and Vidyasagar Karampuri in lead cast, the film is scheduled to hit theatres on June 6.

Written and directed by Shankar Cheguri, the film promises to be a quirky, rollicking comedy about the misadventures of two bumbling villagers who land up in jail after a case of petty theft, and struggle to get out of the situation despite having no strong case built against them. Muralidhar Goud will be seen in a significant role, playing an empathetic police officer, while Kavitha Srirangam and Deeksha Koteshwar will be seen as female leads. The film also features Balagam fame Sudhakar Reddy, Anjayya Neyyolala and Gunda Mallayya in ensemble cast. 

Badmashulu is produced by B Balakrishna and C Rama Shankar under the banner of Thara Story Tellers. Teja Kunuru is the music director. In the technical team, Vineeth Pabbathi helms the cinematography and Gajjala Rakshith Kumar is the editor.

Upon it’s release, the film will clash at the box office against Sangeeth Shobhan starrer Gamblers.
