Kumari 21F, the 2015 romantic drama starring Raj Tarun and Hebah Patel in lead roles, completes 10 years of its release this year. On the occasion, the makers are planning a special re-release of the film in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. 

Directed by Palnati Surya Pratap, Kumari 21F told the story of Siddhu (Raj Tarun), an aspiring chef who enters into a complicated romantic relationship with a struggling model named Kumari (Hebah). Even as his partner’s outgoing nature continues to make him jealous, Siddhu remains mystified about Kumari’s past, his insecurities further aided by his gossiping friends who fuel his suspicions.

Kumari 21F marked Sukumar’s debut as a producer. Additionally, the Pushpa franchise filmmaker also worked as a scriptwriter for the film. Devi Sri Prasad composed music for the film. After a slow start at the box office, the film emerged as a big commercial success. The film went on to be remade in Kannada with the same title. 

The re-release date for Kumari 21F is yet to be announced.

Hebah Patel was recently seen in the horror thriller Odela 2. Raj Tarun, meanwhile, is working next with Tamil filmmaker Vijay Milton for a bilingual project. He has another release coming up with Paanch Minar, where he shares the screen with Rashi Singh.
