The makers of Hey Chikittha wrapped up the shoot for their film on Friday. The film, billed as a romantic drama, features Divija Prabhakar and Abhinav Manikanta in the lead roles.

The shoot for the film took place in interiors of Telangana, largely in a town named Jagtial. Hey Chikittha is written and directed by Dhanraj Lekkala. In february, the makers had announced the title of their film also releasing a first look poster featuring the leads. ‘Hey Chikittha’ is a reference to a popular song from the Pawan Kalyan starrer Badri (2001). The title font also incorporates a silhouette of Pawan Kalyan, acknowledging the homage. 

The ensemble cast of Hey Chikittha includes Ashok Vardhan, Tanmai, Prudhvi Raj, Balagam Sujatha and Prabhakar among others. Charan Arjun is the music director for the film. In the technical team, Anji helms the cinematography and Balagam Madhu is in charge of editing.
