A few weeks ago, we had reported about the makers of Hari Hara Veera Mallu deciding to postpone their film’s release from June 12. On Saturday, the makers officiated July 24 as the new release date for their film.

Produced under the banner of Mega Surya Productions, Hari Hara Veera Mallu will mark the on-screen return of Pawan Kalyan after two years. The film has been a long time in the making, delayed multiple times due to its expansive shoot and Pawan Kalyan’s busy schedule owing to his political commitments. The film is billed is a historical action saga set against the backdrop of the Mughal Empire, with Pawan Kalyan playing a rebellious outlaw who defies imperial rule.

The film, which commenced with Krish Jagarlamudi helming the direction, had the direction work later taken over by Jyothi Krisna. The film also stars Nidhi Agerwal, Anupam Kher and Bobby Deol in lead cast. MM Keeravani has composed music for the film.  Cinematographers Gnana Shekar VS and Manoj Paramahamsa, editor Praveen KL, and production designer Thota Tharani are among the key technicians.

Pawan Kalyan has another release later this year with Sujeeth directorial OG, which also stars Emraan Hashmi.

Meanwhile, Kingdom makers were reportedly planning to release on July 25. It remains to be seen whether this new update will lead any change in release plans for the Vijay Deverakonda starrer.
