Japanese actor Keiichi Ando has confirmed his involvement in Pawan Kalyan’s OG. Taking to his Instagram story, Ando shared the film’s poster and a making video with the caption, “The upcoming film I’m in,” indicating that he will be seen in a brief role in a fight scene. The actor was previously seen in Sam Bahadur, starring Vicky Kaushal.
OG, directed by Sujeeth and produced by DVV Danayya under DVV Entertainment, is scheduled for theatrical release on September 25. The film is positioned as a major release during the Dussehra festival, and is currently clashing with Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna.
OG stars Pawan Kalyan as Ojas Gambheera, a gangster in exile who returns to Mumbai for a significant mission. Also starring are Priyanka Arul Mohan and Emraan Hashmi, with a supporting cast that includes Sriya Reddy, Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, and others.
A glimpse from OG titled “Hungry Cheetah” was released on the actor’s birthday last year, showcasing high-octane visuals and receiving positive feedback from audiences.
OG features music by SS Thaman, cinematography by Ravi K Chandran and Manoj Paramahamsa, and production design by A S Prakash. With principal photography now completed, the project has entered its post-production phase.
