The second schedule of Mega157, starring Chiranjeevi and directed by Anil Ravipudi, which recently commenced in Mussoorie, has wrapped up. The shoot of this film has been moving forward with a brisk pace. In this schedule, key scenes of Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara have been shot. The makers said that these scenes will stand out as Chiranjeevi plays a sports drill master for children.

Mega157 is jointly produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela under the Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainments banners and is slated for a Sankranti 2026 release.

Mega157 is billed to have a story that blends elements of humour and emotion, with director Anil Ravipudi revisiting the comic tone often associated with Chiranjeevi’s films from the 1990s and 2000s. Ravipudi, who recently delivered the successful festive entertainer Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, has generated anticipation for this project.

The film’s technical crew includes Sameer Reddy as director of photography, Tammiraju as editor, and AS Prakash handling production design. Music for Mega157 is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, with writing credits shared by S Krishna and G Adi Narayana.
