
Chiranjeevi has extended his wishes to director Sekhar Kammula, who recently marked 25 years in the film industry. In a social media post on Monday, Chiranjeevi congratulated Kammula for his cinematic journey and praised his distinctive storytelling style.
“It gives me immense joy to have a fan like you. I was even more delighted to learn that I had inspired your journey. I feel proud to have been a part of your remarkable 25-year journey in some way,” Chiranjeevi wrote.
He further acknowledged Kammula’s signature approach, stating, “I have always admired your films for their sensitive storytelling, laced with gentle entertainment and meaningful social commentary. You have truly created a unique style of your own in filmmaking.”
Wishing him success in the years to come, the Vishwambhara actor added, “Here’s to your next glorious 25 years. God bless.” Photographs from their meeting, including Chiranjeevi gifting Kammula a pen, were also shared online.
Sekhar Kammula, who debuted with Dollar Dreams in 1999, is known for classics such as Anand, Godavari, Leader, and Fidaa. He is currently gearing up for the release of Kuberaa, a social thriller featuring Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna.
Kuberaa is scheduled for a theatrical release on June 20. It is produced by Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations and will be released in five languages of Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.
