After multiple delays, the Vishnu Manchu starrer fantasy-drama Kannappa is finally gearing up for a theatrical release on June 27. On Tuesday, the makers announced the trailer release date for their film.

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, Kannappa will have its trailer released on Friday, June 13. Vishnu Manchu, who plays the titular role, has also served as the screenwriter for the film. The film, based on the life of a Lord Shiva devotee, also features big stars like Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, Kajal Aggarwal, and Prabhas in extended cameos. The cast also includes names like Madhoo, Preity Mukundhan, Brahmaji, and Surekha Vani.

A few days ago, the team released their new single ‘Sri Kala Hasti,’ which features the voices of Vishnu’s daughters Ariaana and Viviana Manchu, who are also part of the film’s cast. Stephen Devassy is the music composer for the film. 

Releasing on June 27, Kannappa is the only big Telugu release that week. The film is produced by Mohan Babu under the banners of 24 Frames Factory and AVA Entertainments.

Vishnu Manchu's last on-screen appearance was in 2022 film Ginna.
