
The song 'Shiva Shiva Shankara' from the upcoming Pan India film Kannappa, produced by actor Mohan Babu, directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, and starring Vishnu Manchu in the lead, was recently launched. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Guruji from the Art of Living unveiled the song, offering his best wishes for the film’s success. Attendees included Mohan Babu, Vishnu Manchu, director Mukesh Kumar Singh, and the film team, with special guests Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, Sumalatha Ambareesh, and producer Rockline Venkatesh.
Actor and producer Mohan Babu shared, “When I think of Kannappa, I remember Dr Rajkumar. Today, Sri Ravi Shankar Guruji has blessed my son Vishnu Manchu’s film by launching the song. It’s also an honour to have Bharathi Vishnuvardhan and Sumalatha Ambareesh, the wives of my dear friends Vishnuvardhan and Ambareesh, with us. Rockline Venkatesh has secured the Karnataka distribution rights for Kannappa.”
Vishnu Manchu thanked the guests and announced that the film is set for a grand release on April 25.
Bharathi Vishnuvardhan said, “My husband, Vishnuvardhan, had great respect for Mohan Babu, and the feeling was mutual. It’s especially touching to know that Mohan Babu named his son after my husband (Vishnu).”
Sumalatha Ambareesh added, “Mohan Babu and Ambareesh shared a close bond, and we’ve known his son Vishnu since childhood.”
Rockline Venkatesh, who secured the Karnataka distribution rights, said, “I’ve already seen Kannappa, and it’s a fantastic film. I’m excited to bring it to Karnataka.”
With lyrics by Ramajogayya Sastry and music by Stephen Devassy, the song is sung by Vijay Prakash.
