Ram Charan has given fans a glimpse of his transformation for Peddi, his upcoming film directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The star's recent photograph at a gym reveals a dramatic transformation for the start of a massive filming schedule.

According to the team behind the film, the next schedule begins this week and is considered as both extensive and critical to its total production. The image shows Charan with a rugged beard, firmly pulled-back hair, and a significantly bulked-up physique, indicating a shift in his on-screen persona.

Peddi is being produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, with presentation by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. The film was officially announced earlier this year and is reportedly mounted on a large scale. A promotional glimpse released earlier had generated considerable buzz across languages, with expectations set high among audiences.

Peddi stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, with veteran actors Shiva Rajkumar, and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles. Divyendu Sharma is set to play a character with negative shades. The crew includes cinematographer R Rathnavelu and editor Navin Nooli. The music is being composed by AR Rahman.

Scheduled for release on March 27, 2026 on Ram Charan’s birthday, Peddi is touted as one of the actor’s most ambitious films to date. Alongside this project, Charan is also set to reunite with director Sukumar for a future film, adding to an increasingly packed slate for the star.
