A grand press meet for the Pawan Kalyan starrer Hari Hara Veera Mallu was held on Monday morning. On the occasion, the film’s director Jyothi Krishna spoke about how MM Keeravani’s music plays an important role in the narrative, elaborating on the hard work that went behind one of the action sequences.

Addressing the media, Jyothi Krisna stated, “The final mix for one of the reels was being done on Sunday night. In that reel is an 18-minute fight scene, designed by Pawan sir. We are telling a small story in that fight scene, through music. MM Keeravani sir took 10 days to compose background score for that sequence.”

The director spoke about how Pawan Kalyan’s vision reflected in this scene as well as the movie. He added, “After watching such a powerful sequence, I realised — the way Pawan Kalyan sir is envisioning this film is very different from all of us.”

Further talking about his association with the Oscar-winning composer, Jyothi Krisna recalled, “MM Keeravani and I got really close during the making of this film. He ensured to elevate every sequence through the film, and made sure that no scene looked dull. Music is a big backbone for the film.”

Bankrolled under Mega Surya Productions banner, Hari Hara Veera Mallu is Pawan Kalyan’s first theatrical release in 2 years. The period action-drama also stars Bobby Deol, Niddhi Agerwal, and Anupam Kher in prominent roles. Additionally, notable actors like Sathyaraj, Murali Sharma,  Sunil, Nassar, and Makarand Deshpande are part of the ensemble cast. The film’s technical team too boasts of prominent names like MM Keeravani (music direction), Thota Tharani (Production Design), and Manoj Paramahansa (cinematography).

Presented by AM Rathnam, Hari Hara Veera Mallu will have paid premiere shows on July 23, and will release worldwide on July 24.
