Reports suggest that actor Kayadu Lohar has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Nani in the upcoming The Paradise. While the makers are yet to issue an official confirmation, industry reports indicate that Lohar has already begun shooting for the project.

The Paradise is directed by Srikanth Odela, who previously collaborated with Nani on Dasara. The film is set in the bylanes of Secunderabad and is said to be a period action drama involving heavy visual effects. The story reportedly involves intense character arcs, including Nani’s lead role and Kayadu's role, which, as per reports, is of a sex worker. Industry buzz suggests that several female actors had reservations about taking on the part due to its bold nature and visual demands but Lohar is said to have taken up the role after being impressed by the script.

Kayadu Lohar made her Telugu debut with Alluri and has since gained recognition in Tamil cinema with Dragon. If confirmed, The Paradise could mark a significant return for her to the Telugu screen.

The Paradise also features Mohan Babu, Babu Mohan, and Raghav Juyal in key roles. Sonali Kulkarni is reportedly playing Nani’s mother. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music, and Sai of Amaran fame handles cinematography. After delays due to financial hurdles, the film’s shoot is now back on track, with two schedules already completed.

Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri, The Paradise is one of Nani’s most ambitious projects aiming for a March 2026 release.
