Earlier in May, we had reported about Mahesh Babu’s nephew Jaya Krishna set for his Telugu film debut. The film, is reportedly being directed by Ajay Bhupathi. Now reports are coming in that Rasha Thadani will be making her Tollywood debut with the project.

The Jaya Krishna debut vehicle is being backed by reputed banners like Vyjayanthi Movies and Anandhi Arts. The film, reportedly titled Srinivasa Mangapuram, is a love story with an action backdrop. The makers are also in talks with another veteran actor for the antagonist's role, and the shoot is expected to commence in October this year. Director Ajay Bhupathi is known for films like RX 100 and Mangalavaaram. 

Daughter of 90s popular actor Raveena Tandon, Rasha Thadani made her film debut earlier this year with Azaad, where she was paired with Ajay Devgn’s nephew Amaan Devgan. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the film didn’t fare well at the box office. 

Jaya Krishna is the son of Mahesh Babu’s elder brother Ramesh Babu, who himself worked as an actor and producer in many movies. Other family members of Mahesh Babu active in film industry are his brother-in-law Sudheer Babu, who is known for films like Sammohanam and Harom Hara. Mahesh Babu’s elder sister Manjula too has produced several movies in the 2000s, besides acting in a few films.
