We know that actor Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is collaborating with director Naveen Medaram for an upcoming Telugu film titled Devil. On Sunday, the makers released Malavika Nair's character poster from the film. 

Malavika Nair is introduced as Manimekala in the character poster. She is seen having short curly hair, and wearing a typical grey cotton saree worn by politicians. 

Billed as a period spy thriller, Devil comes with the tagline "The British Secret Agent". Previously the makers have released a glimpse of the film, which revealed that the film is set against the backdrop of the Madras Presidency during the independence era. The film will feature Kalyan Ram as a British secret agent tasked with solving a mystery.

Backed by Abhishek Nama under the banner Abhishek Pictures, Devil has its story, screenplay and dialogues provided by Srikanth Vissa, who worked in films like Pushpa, Radhe Shyam, and Ravanasura as a writer. Samyuktha is the female lead.

The music for Devil is scored by Harshavardhan Rameshawar, with cinematography by Soundar Rajan. Apart from Telugu, the film will also be released in Hindi on November 24.
