We have earlier reported the release of Sri Simha's first look poster from Ustaad, on occasion of the actor's birthday. Now the makers released the first look of the film's female lead Kavya Kalyanram, on Friday afternoon. She will be playing the role of a girl named Meghana.

Taking to social media to make the announcement, the makers of Ustaad wrote, "Nobody can love like her, but nobody can be as unpredictable as her!! Meghana is all about her wit, sarcasm and honesty, but a strong soul who finds her way to live life on her own terms." 

In the first look poster, we get to see Kavya riding a motorcycle in a blue salwar kameez, as Sri Simha rides pillion.

Kavya, a former child actor from the early 2000s, begun the second innings of her career as a lead actor with Sai Kiran's Masooda, opposite Thiruveer. She has recently appeared in Balagam, opposite Priyadarshi Pulikonda. 

Ustaad is written and directed by Phanideep and produced by Rajani Korrapati, Rakesh Reddy Gaddam and Himank Reddy Duvvuru. Pavan Kumar Puppala and Carthic Cuts serve as the cinematographer and the editor of the film respectively.
