Recently, we reported that Ustaad, an upcoming film starring actors Sri Simha Koduri and Kavya Kalyanram will be hitting theatres on August 12. Ahead of that, the makers shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse on Monday. 

The film is written and directed by newcomer Phanideep. Ustaad also stars Gautham Menon, Anu Hasan, Ravindra Vijay, Venkatesh Maha, Ravi Siva Teja, and Sai Kiran Yedida in supporting roles. 

The film is set in the world of aviation, and Sri Simha is seen playing the role of a pilot. The actor will also be appearing next in Bhaag Saale, a crime comedy film set to release on July 7. The actor has previously featured in Mathu Vadhalara (2019), a stoner comedy, and Dongalunnaru Jagratha (2021), a survival thriller. 

Former child actor Kavya Kalyanram made her foray as a lead actor with last year's Masooda and followed that up with an appearance in Venu Yeldandi's Balagam, as Priyadarshi's love interest. 

Ustaad is produced by Rajani Korrapati, Rakesh Reddy Gaddam, and Himank Reddy Duvvuru under the banner Krishi Entertainments and Varahi Chalana Chitram. The film's music is composed by Akeeva B, with cinematography by Pavan Kumar Puppala, editing by Carthic Cuts, and production design by Aravind Mule.
