Meera Jasmine returns to Telugu with Vimanam

Wishing actor Meera Jasmin on her birthday, the makers of the Tamil-Telugu bilingual Vimanam confirmed the actor’s comeback in their upcoming film. Taking to social media, the makers of Vimanam wrote, “She’s back people! Wishing the ever-charming Meera Jasmine a very happy birthday. After a decade she will grace our screens with her presence in Vimanam. Our next Telugu-Tamil bilingual film in association with KK Creative works.”

The announcement came with a poster, “The long wait is over. Welcome back.” In addition to Meera Jasmine, Samuthirakani has also been signed on to play a key role in the film. More details about Vimanam are yet to be announced by the makers. 

Meera Jasmine made her Telugu debut in 2004 with the film Ammayi Bagundi. She is known for her roles in films like Gudumba Shankar (2004), Bhadra (2005) and Gorintaku (2008). Her roles in the Telugu dubbed versions of Tamil films like Run (2002) and Aayutha Ezhuthu (2004) also gained popularity. Her last film in Telugu was the 2013 film Moksha (2013).
